A true leader in the online plant market
I've made 3 orders with Marshall's each one has been carefully packaged and sent in a very timely manner. I understand plants don't always grow as expected so some things have been sent in different packages at a later date. That's just how it is with plants! All the plants I have received have been excellent, any issues have been fixed instantly and I really can't complain about their customer service as they have been tremendous. This is now my top go-to online garden centre as they have proven to be excellent. Having bought from most the large online suppliers I really don't know how some of them are still in business, but Marshall's most certainly is not one of these. Just remember, if you're ordering online plants they may not turn up at the same time or instantly, if you can't cope with this, go to a garden centre and pay 3-4x the price.

Wrong seeds and bad customer service
A few months ago I sowed a packet of Marshalls Gardener’s Delight cherry tomato seeds. I grew on 8 of the seedlings and these plants have now started to bear fruit. The tomatoes are significantly bigger than cherries and are not arranged on long trailing vines as mentioned on the packet - so they are not Gardner’s Delight tomatoes. I feel frustrated that I’ve wasted a lot of effort growing something I didn’t want.

I emailed my complaint to Marshalls using the email form on their website on Wednesday. The website said I would get a reply within 24 hours. Over 48 hours later I have not received a reply.

Clowns of the plant world.
Original order was missing plants. Email was answered and a promise of replacements being sent.

3 weeks later I was issued a gift card for partial order amount as plants were not available.

Why would want a gift card for a company that can’t fulfil orders correctly. Funnily enough a full refund was refused.

Avoid these clowns.

Would give 0 stars if I could
Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered begonias for hanging baskets middle of May as garden ready plugs, advertised as available. On 25 May had an e mail to say begonias slow growing and would be dispatched wk commencing 6 June, On 12 June I emailed to ask where the order was to be told that I'd have it by the end of the week, so by 20/6. Now 22/6 and no plants. If they take much longer as plugs they may be in bloom by the Autumn. So around 6 weeks still not to have an order as advertised as ready to dispatch. Poor.

Very disappointed with the service
Very disappointed with the service! I ordered over £70 worth of chilli plants in March with the expectation of delivery in late May. Despite ordering them months in advance I have just been informed in late June that they are unavailable. Yet orders for those same plants ordered for clients at later dates have been delivered.
On a positive note however they do answer all telephone calls promptly albeit the staff on the line can’t really help.
